Sarit is an actor and writer, with an eye for character-driven comedy. A winner of the Eurovision Sitcom Trials competition, London, 2012, she co-wrote and starred in that winning sitcom, which she developed into SHIRLEY'S TEMPLE. Her first co-written short, ‘SUIT’, in which she stars, is in post-production. Sarit has contributed material to London Comedy Writers live show Sketchageddon. She has been a regular member of The Sitcom Trials, directing and participating in numerous of their competitions. She has also attended the London Screenwriters Festival, and participated in Paul Bassett Davies’ Sitcom Course. An Equity member, Sarit holds a Diploma in Acting from Beit-Zvi Advanced Acting School in Israel. Before moving to London, she pursued a successful acting career for over 10 years, including five years as a member of The National Theatre of Israel. She has written, directed and performed several comedy one-act and children’s plays.
