Preach What You Practise

What's it all about

Preach What You Practise is a ten part web series, and each episode is roughly three to four minutes long. It follows Nina and Rhonda, an odd couple who spend their days trying to convert the public to their religion through door-knocking and missionising on the street. But perhaps that is actually counterproductive to their ultimate goal of getting into heaven..?

The script has been through a few writers' groups and so on, where it was well received and also had some really useful feedback. The plan is to make this script into the show that it deserves to become, and then go from there. Festivals, showcases, who knows?!

The attached video is just an example of a previous sketch I've made, and not necessarily indicative of what this project will be like.

We are looking for :

I'm looking for a cinematographer/DOP who can also do some light directing/has an interest in directing. They would need to take charge of the photography side of things. I will direct in terms of performances from actors, but since I will also be playing the role of Nina, I will need some help in this area as well.

This is completely self-funded, so there is unfortunately no money involved, looking for a collaborator.

Timing-wise, it's very flexible, although I think we would be wise to shoot in the summer since a lot of scenes are outdoors.
